I especially liked his mention of staccato by means
of RH finger muting, but he speaks of it only in
terms of minimizing noise, and that isn't all.

Carcassi Op. 60 #1 is written with the stated purpose
of practicing it, as I've been telling you for years.

I changed my playing instructions for the chord
exercise many years ago, and I have mentioned
it at least in the jazz guitar newsgroup,
but this Steidl video prompted
me to finally revise the document:
