There are a dozen examples of glaciers and snow caps receeding in the
last 20 years, Greenland, Kilamanjaro,Alps and so forth.

Here's mine from the Three Sisters Wilderness in the central Oregon Cascades. Climbing descriptions from the middle of the last century no longer match the current quarter mile slog up the scree field to reach the beginning of the glacier.
