I think its hilarious that the students are required to immerse
themselves in the all the professor's own personal recordings! A good
way boost cd sales!
I'm glad I'm finished with school. All that crap you have to go through.
In this case, it's a little nutty with the ping-pong ball and rubber
swim cap. I'm surprised that he doesn't have an X-acto knife and a blow
dryer in the list. :-)
It would be my guess that most of the students would have the required
listening materials on flash drives or MP3 players right quick. Back in
my day, we thought it was pretty funny when a professor would require
that you'd buy his over-priced, poorly-bound book too. They'd cost 35-40
bucks at a time when the tuition was something under $300. It's a rather
unethical practice but that's the breaks.
