John I know it's easier to imagine just a handful of guys over there
hate it, but really it's an entire culture.  I have a friend in
Pakistan who tells me he feels good inside when bad things happen to
the USA...he's a nice guy but he just can't help it.  Just like we all
sort of think Castro's a turd, they are brought up to think we're
evil.  And when I asked him about Benazir Bhutto he said she got what
she deserved, she was a USA puppet.  Still otherwise he's a pleasant
guy, very laid back and normal.  It's chilling.

I know the type. What's funny as that many of them are right here in
the US - can't stand the states
but still don't want to move back home. Along similar lines the guy
who sits next to me at work is Indian and he would love nothing
less than if his government would wipe Pakistan off the map.

That's one of the things that makes our country great - we can
tolerate such dissention among us, provided it is non-violent.
I don't advocate killing just anyone who considers us an enemy, only
those who actively persue doing harm to US citizens,
and in some cases harm to our national interests. Pest control.

I am also sure that the group you speak of will always hate us, no
matter what we do to change things.
We shouldn't waste our time. I bet much of that hate is a result of
the US being a prosperous, free, and peaceful
society where in contrast Pakistan is a shit storm. There will be no
strife when the day comes that we all live in
a prosperouse, free, and peaceful societies OR one big shit storm.
