Or, you can fit 108 moons between the Earth and the Moon – you can fit
108 Suns between the Earth
and the Sun.
The diameter of the Sun is ~1,392,000 km. The distance between the
Earth and the Sun is ~149,597,887.5 km (semi-major axis). Therefore,
the distance from the Earth to the Sun is ~107.4697 diameters of the
Sun. This varies somewhat (~105.67 to ~109.26 diameters) because
Earth's orbit around the Sun is not a perfect circle.

The diameter of the Moon is ~3,476 km. The distance between the Earth
and the Moon is ~384,403 km. Therefore, the distance from the Earth to
the Moon is ~110.588 diameters of the Moon. This varies (~102.53 to
~116.83 diameters) because the Moon's orbit around the Earth is, also,
not a perfect circle.

Yes I did the math as well before I posted this. As you can see
however, at some point during the elliptical orbits of both the sun
and moon my statement is correct. The interesting part is how did
they know this way back when.

Who are "they" and who said they knew this? When is "way back when"?

My point is that some people will only acknowledge the "facts" that fit their philosophy. A stopped clock is "correct" twice a day. That doesn't mean it is "correct" all the time. Some people with an agenda to sell will expand a specific observation into a general statement that coincides with their beliefs. That doesn't make the general statement true.

Believe is a curious phenomenon that seems to be different for each individual.
