False. Just because you encounter something that doesn't fit with your
experience or world view doesn't mean your view
is wrong.

I never said that.

It might be, but frankly earth shattering revelations are
generally not the norm.

What a pity.

I am not afraid of moving beyond my
comfort zone, but I simply choose to exhaust all rational (and
probably simplistic and boring) explanations for things before casting
off
my world view and everything I have come to know over my (brief) 48
years of existence.

Well to be honest I don't see you operating that way. For instance
in the past when we've discussed the events on 911 you seem to have a
pre fabled conclusion. When Confronted with actual evidence you
haven't taken the the logical route at all, you've taken the route you
have been told by the corporate media, regardless of the facts, your
discussions have been full of innuendo and ridicule.

The same goes for your idea that ancient cultures, and writings, are
nothing more than myths, quite an easy hypothesis and one which
requires no investigation or study, just a empty proclamation. You
claim to "exhaust all rational explanations", when in fact you simply
don't have an interest in studying these things, and that's OK, but
then it seems you have a lot to say about these matters at the same
time.

You, on the other hand, seem to seek out and seize

every opportunity for revelation. Maybe it makes you feel smarter than
everyone else. Who knows.

I have no need to feel smarter than others, I just have different
interests than the typical American, and feel the need to counter lazy
thought.

I start such threads to educate people, and yes, I yank on the chain
of ignorance! Someone has to do it!

Yes, when you start these threads you are educating us. Only not in
the way you think you are. I, for one, would appreciate it if you
would at least drop the insults and temper the personal attacks.

Goes both way my friend. You and Jackson have gotten into a few
battles I noticed.

Well, I'll say this and then I'm done.

As for you 911 conclusions, space aliens, etc. Let's just say I have
my own view and it is different than yours. I feel no need to look
for bogeyman in corporations or governments - there's plenty of evil
and bad in the world and I don't see benefit in digging for more when
we
already have more than enough to deal with.

Call me lazy, but I don't know about you but each day I have to take
care of 3 horses, hold down a full time job, mow about 4 acres per
week, weed my garden,
run 50+ miles, make my home brew, clean my house, take the kids to
horse shows, take care of my pool - and occasionally work on guitars
in my shop...I simply don't
have the massive amount of time you seem to have to scour the web for
facts, proofs, and amazing hidden knowledge. Must be nice to be able
to do all that while waiting
for the glue to dry but I don't have that luxury. I guess I will have
to satisfy myself that I am, and can only be a run of the mill lazy
American.

The history channel provides many ancient cultures and space aliens to
entertain me on a Saturday afternoon right before my nap.

And yes, I do have my disagreements with Jackson. But at least with
Jackson you can carry on a discussion or argument without
it turning into a food fight. Jackson offers some interesting tidbits
and observations from time to time, were you offer a condescending
attitude, hyperbole and a measure
of bile.

Who on this forum do you NOT argue with?

John L.

John you take everything way too seriously and personal..... I wash my
hands of you!

That's exactly what John means when he says condescending!
