Hi Folks,
Can anyone direct me to a youTube vid or similar visual aid that focuses
on the correct way to perform a descending slur (pull-off)?
1. Curl the finger.
2. Come straight across the string
3. Make it pop.
It will help to bend the wrist outward a lot. Over time, you will find
that less and less necessary.
See the slur instruction on my site. I have built on Carcassi's method
because his slur material was written far more intelligently than Sor's,
or Aguado's, or Tarrega's, or Noad's, or Shearer's, or Segovia's, or
ABSCAM's.
On my site also are the missing pages of very easy music which other
composers were unable or unwilling to write. daveA
