Frederic Hand: Solos

We just got back from a nice weekend in the country, snow and all.

Saturday night we had dinner with friends and had a real treat;
several guitar friends playing pieces around the dinner table after
dessert. Fred Hand and wife Lesley were there and Fred played some of
his music, including "Lesley's Song", a beautiful adagio. It is
available in this Mel Bay publication of his solos:

Also available on iTunes as is another of the pieces he played,
"Samba"; one of the best samba influenced pieces I've ever heard.
And, not published for a good reason, he's never written it out!
(Hard piece at that). But, he recorded it and it's also available on
iTunes. Highly recommended.
