FS: Hippner 8 String Cedar/Coco $3000+ship

Ok. Here goes...This is the guitar I bought off Andrew Schulman a few
months ago.

I REALLY liked it at first, and decided I was ALL in and going
exclusively 8 string. I was VERY excited about it, so I sent it back
to Darren Hippner to have K&K pickup installed and a few other things
done: widened the saddle, general setup: new nut and saddle made,
leveled frets, replaced 20th fret, glued loose block, and touched up
french polish on top. Well, I just got it back after being without it
for 2 months and working hard on my David Daily 6 string and now I
don't want to play 8 string anymore...It was fun while it
lasted!! ;-)

Very nice guitar though. I do like the sound, warm deep basses,
singing treble, VERY EASY to play as far as action. Amazing set up
actually. Easiest guitar I've ever played....I just don't want to put
the time into dealing with all those strings!! Andrew only sold it
because of medical bills and Darren was very enthusiastic and
impressed with how this one has developed and surprised Andrew would
let it go. It was just made in Jan '08 #547.

2008 Cedar/Cocobolo 8 string, single soundport. 48 hr approval. I
paid $3000+ ship and had the pickup installed and work done after
(which Darren amazingly did for free!!) but I did pay for the pickup
and just want to recoup my original $3000 so I can put it towards
another 6 string...or perhaps some other bills... ;-)
