Hello,
Am Mr Steven Smith from England,my Son will be coming for a vacation in
the U.S, and i want her to be busy throughout because she is a bit
playful. Therefore, i just want to know maybe she can always come to
you and be her tutor so she can learn from you. If possible ,please get
back to me with the cost of your teaching for the next month i mean for
the whole Month of September. She will be coming to your home for 1 hour
each day,
I have scheduled a guardian that will always drive her down to your
place. My Son"s name is Teddy ,He is 15 years old. I want to know the
total amount for an hour each for the total month of septs. So that i
can arrange for the payments.
If its going to work, Kindly get back to me with the amount per each for
the total month of september and your mailing address
Regards
This is a great deal. Not only is it gender specific, but I get to name
my own rate. :-) Be on the lookout for such nonsense and hey...have
yourselves a good weekend. I'll let you know how it all works out.
P.S. I've decided to maintain a wall of shame for the various scammers
out there. I'm posting their bogus checks on a bulletin board in my
studio. Interestingly, the total to date from 2005 is well over
$50,000.
Hah!! Another swindler.
I've gotten a few similar scams. The latest one the e=mailer said the
couple was on their honeymoon in the Bay Area for one week and wanted
me to tutor their child for two weeks, along with a request for me
to quote a cost. I told them it wasn't possible.
At least your request almost made it sound legitimate, by saying the
child would be coming for one hour a day, driven and picked up by someone,
but the poor English is usually a tip off to be cautious, especially since
they didn't inquire about what you teach!
