Augie!
How very like Oprah!
You are an Oprahist!
Even though I sometimes like Oprah, let me correct a couple of things.
1. Fetuses are not babies.
2. Abortion is not murder. It's abortion.
3. The church likes to endorse certain bloodbaths, when in the church's interest. They call them "Just Wars". What hypocrites.
Most days, we can be friends, just not today. I'd like to hear more of your guitar stuff, and less of the pious preachy pointers to your nuggets of supposed wisdom.
By the way. What church do you attend? Maybe you could convince the adherents therein to buy one of my guitars.... It would be preferable if during a church service, you would stand up and shout "OT: Buy a Ganz Guitar". If that goes over well, perhaps we can be "friends". Until then, why don't you address me as "Unlikely Convert", or "Spiritual Reprobate".

Friends,
Being the exquisitely sensitive artists that you are, I know it pains
you to go into a video store and see the endless images of death and
destruction sold as entertainment, and to watch the nonstop nightly
television lineup about about murder and violence, and to think of the
4,000+ babies murdered via abortion every day in America alone.... I
know this not only because you're artists, but because the
overwhelming majority of you here are also pacifists who have
dramatically seized the moral high ground with such heady slogans as
"No Blood For Oil!!!" and "Bush Lied People Died!!!"
All of this is simply to say that it's clear that the death of
innocents is most repugnant to you. And so I'm certain that you'll
welcome and agree with John Paul II's famous critique of modern
culture as a "culture of death." He said it here:

You should read that. Or you might wish to skip straight to this,

"To claim the right to abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia, and to
recognize that right in law, means to attribute to human freedom a
perverse and evil significance: that of an absolute power over others
and against others. This is the death of true freedom."
-John Paul II, Evangelium vitae
"Instead of making it possible to breathe humanly again, we defend
with a totally false conception of freedom everything that man's
arbitrary desire produces. As long as we retain this caricature of
freedom, namely, of the freedom of inner spiritual self-destruction,
its outward effects will continue unchanged."
