Today I heard a guy explaining that tap water flouridation is actually
a ruse to keep the pubic doped and docile. Could exposing this

TG
We could rape the landscape and have a lot of oil in 10 or 20 years,
but by that time things will have changed. We could take to billions
we spend on stupid wars and use this to develop solar enery and
fusion reactors, but that would be too easy.
You are out of touch with reality. Our civilization is based on oil. Food, clothing, transport -- everything. If you want to stop using it, be
my guest. John
than we're going to be. But we'll be in even worse shape if we don't
take this seriously now.
I'm pretty sure we'll take it seriously when we have to. When is that?
I don't know. But I do know that Glad 30-gal trash bags were on
freakin' SALE last week at the supermarket at $7.99 for a box of 25. I
looked at the last box and it was $7.99 for a box of 28. How much am I
prepared to spend on trash bags? Don't know. How much are patients
willing to pay for fillings?
Good question! On that note I've made an appointment with my local
dentist after years of avoidance. Last time I had a cleaning was in
2004 and before that it had been about a decade. At that time he
could barely do anything without my gums bleeding all over the place.
So he gave me this crazy disgusting mouthwash to use for a few weeks,
billed me $500 and told me to come back when the mouthwash was all
done so he could finish scraping my teeth. I swished it for few days
and then threw it away! I'm mainly making the appointment because my
front teeth are starting to feel a little raggedy when I run my tongue
along them. I once worked with this nice guy who had really scary
looking teeth...they were all pointy like a vampire only it was ALL
the teeth, not just the canines. I never got up the courage to ask
him what happened. As far as my own teeth go I think the problem is
that I chew on pencils and pens!!
Wish me luck. I asked the receptionist how much it was gonna cost to
get the cleaning and she said it dependent on how many Xrays I
wanted. Seemed a bit shady to me. Any tips?- Hide quoted text -

Jeezus, TG, that's just nasty. I go 3 times per year, ever since I
broke a tooth eating a chocolate chip cookie 10 years ago.
I saw a guy on tv with the pointy teeth. He had his dentist do that
for him. He also had his tongue split down the middle, so that he
could open his mouth and waggle his tongue and look like a gila
monster. He also had a lot of tatoos and junk hanging off his face.
Maybe your pal was into this?
Any dentist that would do that should be run up a flagpole. I know that it's a traditional cosmetic procedure among some subsaharan African tribes. I'm thinking a real Goth would just do his own with a chain saw.
