She and Bill have made themselves into multi-millionaires since leaving the
White House,  mostly by pandering to the publics' thirst for the titillation
of 'Politics as reality show'.
The great tragedy in this whole series of events is the  frightening
division of America on virtually every major issue confronting the nation
and the world.   The actual root causes of many serious and historic issues
are now being ignored in the wake of the universal dumbing-down of US
politics both on the left and the right.
At least US citizens have the right to vote for the stunningly mediocre
array of candidates.  The rest of the world has only to suffer the results.
Unless the US lives up to its' awe-inspiring potential and abandons the
choice between " The world has to love us because we're the good guys"
offered by the left and the 'Bring it on' mentality of the modern right,  we
are all doomed.
Just the view of a crusty old hermit hiding in the woods.

She's had it rough for a long time, and she came so close to
vindication.  I can't help but feel kind of sad for her.  What do you
guys think?  Of course Obama is the better candidate, but I still feel
bad.
I have a yellow dog democrat for a friend and he says: Hillary is a thug
in a pantsuit!"

All politicians are power-hungry.  Yet it's Hilary, a woman, who gets
called out for it.  Apparently, it's okay for Barack, or George, or
Ronald, or Johnnie to want power.
They are all vulpine fear mongers.

Carlos,
are you a native English speaker?  I like the way you write!

Gosh, praise... and in this place no less...

Ok, what's the catch, when's the next shoe gonna fall?

If you are serious...

I grew up speaking Spanish in my home, Tela, Honduras while attending
Mrs. Alexandrina Burns' Kindergarten School where I was introduced to
the Queen's own, at about second grade to the accompaniment of echoing
taunts by my classmates, I learned French from a private tutor, Mme.
Patricia Weaver, whose Parisian extraction was apparently a good sound
to mimic as I did not have any problems in Paris. My primary education
was at the Tela American School where my 7 classmates and I wrestled
through the vagaries and vicissitudes of the English language and had an
hour of Spanish Grammar/Language daily, as the rest of my home life was
in Spanish.

In High School the good Jesuits expanded these skills with expanding
these languges , to the extent that I found myself tutoring my
classmates in English, French and Spanish as part of my scholarship
labours at Jesuit High School NOLA, where I represented the school in
French Extemporaneous Speaking at the State Rally level my Senior year.
Topic? "Should the US be in Vietnam?"

Guess what my position was in 1972?

:)

I lost, got third place, though and several 1st. at the Lafayette French
Rally.

Continued my work in languages  at the University of New Orleans and
received my BA in Spanish Lit with a French Minor before embarking on my
suicide, a music education BA with Composition as my Major, Guitar
Performance my Minor.

Thanx for the kind word about my writing...
