The RNC is doing exactly what you are doing right now -- issuing a
disingenuous and public denouncement of negative behavior they truly
want to encourage because it is helpful to them in the race.

There are many legitimate issues on which to go after Obama. Then
there is the issue of: "Obama is a secret Muslim who is going to turn
over the US to Bin Laden and have us all praying to Mecca 3 times a
day as a part of a multi-generation plot by Islam to dominate the
world." Those who put forth this argument, no matter how much of it
they put forth, simply look stupid, as this bizarre theory is based on
easily disproven lies.

You owe it to yourself to learn which of the "facts" you believe about
Obama is a lie, and this "Obama is a Muslim" thing is quite simply a
lie. That it is a convenient lie to tell or believe or even tolerate
while others tell it and believe it doesn't make it any less of a
lie. And you can learn very easily that it is a lie by doing about 5
minutes of reading.

You don't like Obama's liberalism? Inexperience? Fashion choices?
Go after him on those issues. There's plenty of "there" there. But
continuing to repeat the most bizzarre of conspiracy theories makes
you look deliberately ignorant -- like a person who simply will not
look at facts that contradict his personal beliefs.

Suppose for a second that Obama is elected president and serves 1
term. It's a pretty typical term and he turns out to be a rotten
president because he is too liberal, etc. But he gets to the end of 4
years and his inner Muslim is never revealed.

Do you have any idea how stupid you will look then to those reading
this and other archives? Can you imagine how ridiculous you and
others will look for repeating and believing these bizarre lies?
