Thanks Kevin. I just looked at Fernandez Music and what they say on their site sounds absolutely correct, but $800 is pretty steep. Wish there was something in between. I will call shops around here and see if they carry Strunal I can try.

Seth has a lot of experience teaching children. His advice is good.
I would recommend a Strunal 1/4 size (or comparable srting length -
44cm) if he is an average height 6 year old boy.
For a better guitar check out Fernandez Music. The Esteve has a 40cm
that would be appropriate and is much better than a Strunal in tone
and set-up.
