My holier than though pontifications;and you want to draw a picture as to why you do
not believe me. Not a very good picture I am afraid. Yes as I stated I am not worried
about the money it will be handled by
American Express. Even if it weren't it is not that much of a concern.

So therefore I am trying to make "tawdry accusations against Angerlo Gilardino and
Cristiano Porqueddu". Not at all as I am sure both would be vey upset by the
circumstances and if that is what came across to anyone I sincerely apologize.

Mr. Ophee, I was just recently doing research on Manuel Ponce and ordered the
Ponce Letters through your company. You sent the book right out and I received it
promptly. Although with your unfounded accusations against me I doubt I will ever
order anything from you again,regardless. I nonetheless appreciate your good service.

Is there anyone who would disagree with the fact that it is quite aggravatiing to order
something from a merchant; to not receive that product in a reasonable time, to try to
contact that merchant through the email provided by Pay Pal; to receive no response
from that merchant until an action is taken with PayPal and then two months later
receive a beat up old CD case minus the CD in a registered mail. You question me not
getting into the server so you try it for me www.trascendentia.com, so don't try and
hand me a line of bull. You will see that you get the home page but can't get in. So I
don't appreciate being called a liar. I have tried to get this settled, I am a small teaching
studio owner who is aware of the problems of running a busness and I am
understanding and I certainly have not flunked geography in the fifth grade.

Just as I have purchased the Ponce book from you, I routinely purchase quite a bit of
music and cds over the internet and I do not have problems. When selling
merchandise one should have a credible web site, one should respond to emails, when
informed of a problem one should contact the customer.

How do I recieve a beat up old empty CD case in the mail?

I happen to respect Mr. Gilardino a great deal. I heard a clip of Mr. Porqueddu's
performance of the studies and was impressed enough to want to buy the CD. He is an
excellent guitarist and I was looking forward to getting the CD even at that high price
since I know money is not worth much in Europe. :) But they should look into this as I
am sure they would want to.

I maintain that my concern is with the independent artist trying to sell his works.I have
no other interest in airing this matter. There are lessons to be learned here.

If either Mr. Gilardino or Mr. Porqueddu feel that I have offended them I would like to
hear this directly from them and I would certainly apologiize.

heard of servers being down for maintenance, or of Internet cables on
the bottom of the Mediterranean being cut accidentally, or other
temporary disruption in service. In case you flunked geography in the
fifth grade, let me advise that Sardinia.net is physically located on
the island of Sardinia, that island is found off the coast of Italy in
the Mediterranean sea, and its servers may be located anywhere in the
world. If the site was not functioning, you could not even open it in
your browser, and of course a non functioning site which you cannot

so they will be fighting this for me but still it is going to take
more phone calls etc.

No. What is cheap and tawdry is your low brow accusation against one
of the leading lights in the guitar world, my friend and colleague
Angelo Gilardino, and against my friend and colleague Cristiano
Porqueddu who runs Angelo's web site, of engaging in dishonest
business practices. I have no doubt that you are correctly reporting
the non-reception of an item you ordered on the Internet, but to
accuse the on line merchant for being a cheap rip-off, without
realizing that in the chain of transfer between the seller and you
there are at least two Postal services, the Italian and the US one,
and many transfer points and transfer handlers in several cities
before the item gets to you, where the item could have been stolen or
lost, is simply un-called for.

beware of making these kinds of purchases, I guess.

Correct. You must be aware. If the item is not available in your
corner CD store, you are always taking a risk ordering on the
Internet. Once the seller has put an item into the mail system, he
loses control over it. So if you want to be sure of not losing your
purchase, invest in extra insurance, delivery by courier (UPS, FEDEX
etc). I have been selling *** music and book on the Internet for
almost ten years by now. 99.9% of my transactions get to their
customers without problems. But *** happens and there is nothing I
can do about it.
