Re: Chet Atkins Arrangements

Thanks very much. I think I saw "Off the Record" at Chord Melody. Not sure
if it's TAB or notation. I'll go back and check.
I saw some Atkins books a few years ago at a local store. All were in TAB
and with really unusual tunings--every string retuned! The Odd Folks of
Okrakoke was one of them. I do have Zorba in TAB, but I don't remember where
I found it, a long time ago.

This is the message I tried to send to you privately:

As far as I could determine, there is no published edition of
Chet Atkins's arr. of "Theme from Zorbas" (many recording, though).
The Spanish Fandango arrangement is in an old anthology titled "Mel
Bay presents Chet Atkins [with Tommy Flint] : Off the Record" (1978).
The following pieces are included:
Contents: I'll say she does -- Me and Merle -- Yankee
doodle Dixie --
Mr. Bojangles -- Walk, don't run -- Wheels --
The odd
folks of Okracoke -- Yellow bird -- Windy and
warm --
Just as I am -- John Henry -- Spanish
fandango --
Wimoweh -- Liebestraum -- Czardas.
