Actually, I'm serious. Sometime in the 1970's Hew Haw did a tribute to
great guitarists. Mostly, of course, country & western. But Segovia
made an appearance on this show. As I recall, he was introduced very
respectfully by Roy Clark. I also recall that Segovia played the first
movement of Torroba's Suite castellana.

I wonder if he understood what the show was about - could any non-American understand that intentionally cornball show? He must have been puzzled to see hay bales and farm stuff on the set. I've seen western performers on Asian variety shows - mostly they're completely disoriented - pun not intended. :-)
