I have a better idea - you take the ABRSM grade 1 exam and get back to

Grade 1? Good one! But seriously, even these recordings, all done well
before I started lessons eight months ago with a great teacher, reveal
that Grade 1 would be silly for me:

I'm willing to risk humiliation by directing you to such deficient
performances. Is your ego so consuming that neither you nor Sleepyhead
(a most apt sobriquet, by the way) aren't willing to do the same?
Has it ever occurred to you, sitting up there alone in your vast
castle of idiocy, that perhaps the reason I haven't put any recordings
up of myself might be that I don't have the technical facilities to
produce such recordings? Willingness is great, but the last time I
looked it didn't make camcorders magically appear out of thin air.
If you want to hear some non-classical recordings I've made (DI is so
much easier to deal with than condenser mics, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU
DON'T HAVE A CONDENSER MIC) you can go herewww.myspace.com/thenunsofalemibim.
As for the classical stuff well that'll have to wait until I meet
someone who's prepared to record my playing.

Very nice. Is that a Strat?
