So you think that all kids in orphanages would be better off dead.
No but by experience I know that in countries or epocas without abortion
they used and stile use the pigs to get ride of unwanted kids.... If you want
to give birth to a kid and give him away it's ok too, but I prefer to know
that women have the CHOICE...
Ben
There is an estimated 100,000 children institutionalized in Romania's
orphanages (SoRelle). The children were placed in the orphanages for
numerous reasons, but most will blame Ceausescu's anti-abortion and
child requirement laws.

And many amazing human beings have arisen from difficult beginnings.
How dare we judge quality of life for another.- Hide quoted text -

What about the communities and families and women who have to suffer
from your judgement, sir? Are they not worthy of consideration?
We *all* suffer and cause others to suffer in varuous ways. Does that
justify killing?- Hide quoted text -

There's killing on both sides, socrates. On one hand, there is
abortion, which is killing something not yet alive. On the other
hand, there is the crime and degredation and desperation which is
caused by women being forced to have babies they didn't want. Blame
can be assigned and morality trumpeted by either side.
For the sake of argument, if no man ever stepped into a car again,
imagine how many millions of lives would be saved! Imagine how many
Einsteins, Bachs, Segovias could arise from this great pool of
talent! By allowing people to drive, we are killing--how do we
justify that?- Hide quoted text -

At some point in the third trimester, it clearly is alive. No
religion, just science. Why can't people just use condoms, for
Christ's sake? What ever happened to personal responsibility? Some
even want me to pay for their stupidity. If women want abortions,
fine. Do it in the first trimester. And she and the idiot responsible
should be made to pay for the procedure.
My two bits.
