This is all rather cryptic. In what way is "Formelmusik" "officially
buried"? And why a sigh of relief if you feel Licht-Bilder is
exquisite??
Did Stockhausen say something specific to "authorize" using the word
"canon" to describe his technique? And why are comparisons with J S
Bach suddenly "legal"?
Finally, please expand on Stockhausen's reasons for reworking Erste
Stunde for synthesizer, so we can understand your reasons for groaning.
