Oh, I've never actually gone away in a long time. But I have just been
sitting back. Real life occasionally gets fraught, you know?

Question: when do parents stop being parents? It's evident that Julia
was a powerful influence on John, and for the good, I think, despite
her triflin' ways. It certainly wasn't her choice to leave him the way
she did. I think we can pretty much agree that of all Beatle
offspring, Julia was the most obvious, even though she wasn't there.

What think you?

Good question. I don't know enough about the details about John's relationship with Julia to respond in that context (I'm more the Beatles MUSIC-type fan) and, as I've said in other contexts, I can't read the minds of people I don't know.

From my own experience, the answer to your question is "never".
