Palin pushing "death panel" healthcare debate on her Facebook page.I believe for the first time..she's saying something intelligent.
Oh boy!

I was all for it in the beginning. Maybe I need to read the
fine print before deciding.
Jeff
They claim Obama's Healthcare Bill will euthanize old folks and
handicapped folks like they did in Nazi Germany.
folks; however his health plan does not view old folks and handicapped
folks as equals to younger and healthier people.
I understand one ofGot a cite?
his advisers is Dr. Ezekiel Emmanuel, Rahm's brother. Dr. Emmanuel is
a physician and ethicist; he believes that not all lives are created
equally, and that too much money is wasted on keeping old people
alive. According to Dr. E., old people are old and they are not as
worthy as a sick younger person.
I have not read Palin's suggestions, but based on what I've seenMaybe it would help if you read or listened to what she said first.
discussed here, she is right on this one.
Exactly, Rich, and the same thing I should have done before
speaking up. I only read one article online, and that's not
much to go on.
Jeff
You know Jeff, this is getting to be a pattern of rather disturbing
behavior on your part. You say some outrageously dumb thing, follow that
with a couple of whining bits of defensiveness, then spurt out a "I
shoulda used my brains in the first place" apology. You would think you
would learn by now of your tendency to say really stupid things before
any consideration, and simply shut up until you actually know something..
You know - despite the white noise being put out by the corporate tools,
this isn't rocket science: the idea that the administration is actually
proposing letting old people die as a form of rationing is not only
nonsensical on the face of it, but is unsupported by the total reality
that has been parading before your eyes and ears for months now. The
notion that you simply haven't read enough on it to make a decision is
either pure balderdash, or you're as thick as a mud carpet. This isn't
precisely a great mystery: both the so-called Tea Parties and the vocal
and obnoxious presence at the townhall meetings are funded by (and
provided talking points by) Freedom Works, which is a known front for
corporate interests, and especially for insurance companies. You think
that indicates something? You might not mind being a corporate asswhore,
but even a self-respecting village idiot would know better than to screw
their own interests over because some HMO CEO fuckwit wants to protect
their 10 billion dollar bonus, which is exactly what one of them got
last year. That's health care dollars at work. And all you can do is go
about screeching about an imaginary "death panel"? And then drooling out
ANOTHER lame "I shoulda read a little bit more".
Mental cripple...

With all respect Jeff does not deserve to be called a mental cripple.
Now if you want to hear some real "intelligence" here is the head of
the House Judiciary Committee declaring how he feels on the issue of
reading the Health Care Reform bill before he signs it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW7mOaPnYYA
I think the real question is, "Can he read?" YOu know Conyers is a
Democrat. How about Conyers for Prez and Palin for Vice Pres? We
could really get some change in this country that way!
I wouldn't want Palin for Vice President or President. I'm just
concerned about Obama's health care plan. The way it
looks, he's looking everywhere to get this passed,
including the internet.
