As predicted, my most recent post in which I evaluated the
denegration of this newsgroup since my so-called departure generated
a response from many that was oh so predictable and served to prove
my intial point.
Couldn't have said it better myself, except I would have typed
"initial" correctly and wouldn't have written "denegration" where I
meant to write "degeneration." I would have spelled "orgasmic" right
too, but never mind that for now. And yeah yeah, kids...just go right
on pretending the newsgroup's content didn't noticeably plunge when I
split.

Gosh, just look at those posting tallies for the past four months,
compared with the months prior. Pure coincidence, uh huh. And gosh,
how interesting to see -- not even counting IBen -- that four of the
newsgroup's top 10 posters nowadays are crossposting political
bashers. Imagine how the recent posting volume would shrink even
further, minus those cretins.
Yes, I
posted a "I'm leaving" post (which of course I have scolded others
for making in the past when they announced their own departure)
I find it remarkable -- if unsurprising -- how various blockheads like
to pretend my six-line "I'm taking off for awhile" toss-off was
equivalent to the grandiose, trembling-lipped, farewell orations from
melodramatic boobs like Charlie, Marcus and AllaBest. Which are
particularly ludicrous in AllaBest's case, since he typically starts
posting again almost immediately.
Rich, Dale, the gruesomely resurrected "nowhere man" and others
feeding
political trolls so tirelessly that the newsgroup may never be rid of
crossposted flamewars again.
<And of course a heaping helping of my own trollish posts in which I
became so rabid earlier this year that I had to "leave" the group
because I was outnumbered and made a bigger fool of myself than I
ever have in the past.>
Well, this is more knowing dishonesty, of course. And it's basically a
non sequitur, since I've never been prone to join the
self-flagellating political threads which I mention above. The
remaining bit of the smear is dishonest too, since I obviously never
minded being "outnumbered" and the Yokotards never fazed me at all.
They're all unhinged kooks, and battling one YT is no different from
battling six of them because they all share one mind.
For several posts leading up to my "taking off" post, I mentioned the
idiot factor approaching critical mass. That's it in a nutshell. The
group is no longer worth the effort to be a regular poster. And the
idiot factor is far *past* critical mass now.
Iben, onstage everywhere. Also gorging on attention.
<Notice me giving him even more...do I even think before I type?>
More intellectual dishonesty. Oh yes, my above seven words are no
different from engaging in lengthy tit-for-tat threads with him.
I also note that Cancer heaped love on the previous forgery despite
all its sophomoric, vulgar trolling about gay sex and the like. Well,
it's not as if revealing her total lack of principles is anything
new. Looks like today, she's once *again* pretending that she frowns
on personal attacks, and *doesn't* hypocritically applaud (or "LOL")
any attack - - no matter how sleazy -- as long as it's aimed at
someone she dislikes. And never mind her own steady stream of
character swipes fired at a variety of opponents. Phew...how does she
live with herself?
Even RichL -- who intermittently comes off as one of the group's more
level-headed beings -- deemed that forgery "Post of the Year," simply
because he places such frantic importance on having his dorky
vanity-music/Queen fetishes coddled and I failed to play along. And
because gay slurs and forgeries are fine with him, as long as they
happen to place a band-aid or two on his ever-needy ego.
I am as gay as Rip Torn's scrotum.
Um...Rip Torn is currently married to his third wife.
3.) I applaud the "MC Hammered" posts even though they are trollish
in nature and I've already stated that this group should not indulge
trolls.
They're more satirical than trollish, and they're very clever. They're
also far too exaggerated and cartoonish to be taken seriously as a
"character attack." Also: Trolls are out to enrage their targets, and
Charlie isn't even here anymore. Nor is anyone who still cares much
about Charlie's honor (least of all, the forger who wrote the above).
It's a victimless crime.
Well, see ya later. Let the reassurance cascades resume....
PS What's with this "83LowRider" guy, who's too dumb to even use
tinyurl.com correctly? Weird that no one else called him on this.
Cry baby.
I called it "post of the year" because I thought he did an excellent job
of capturing your essence.
Your response is the ultimate in hypocrisy.
You're whining about Fatts' approach to "group decency" but you're just
the same. Geez, you even went out of your way to attack the new guy
who's never said anything about you.
It's simply incredible to me how you think this group revolves around
you. Well here's a reality check.
Check the posting stats for a collection of randomly selected usenet
groups. You'll find an overall decline. Or are we to believe that your
absence somehow affected them as well? "Poisoned rose isn't posting to
rmb any more, so we might as well give up on usenet!" Or perhaps
Verizon, roadrunner, and other ISPs pulled their usenet support because
they knew you were leaving RMB soon and decided that it was pointless to
continue?
"You're so vain!" I honestly don't know whether I'm actually responding
to you or a better-done parody of you than the last one. Good grief!- Hide quoted text -
