Sounds good to me. Soundclick seems like a good medium for the
songs, except that it only accepts mp3s. Do you know of anything
free that would be large enough to accept a number of .wav files in
addition to the other media?

I'll check. Most ISPs limit email sizes, too. So a 40-50 meg file
would never go.

(hit send too early)

I'd imagine that most files that have been sent around have been mp3s.
They've sounded OK. As much as I'd love 24/96, 16/44 seems rather
large. If FedEx is going to be used, and this thing is actually going
to be mastered by a mastering engineer, and replicated by people who
know what they're doing, then of course one would want to maintain
file integrity.

I'm pissin' in the wind here. Let Jimmy have his party.

Producer son #1 has a massive amount of space available on his server.
He's given me access to a sub-account which in the past I've used as a
*temporary* storage area for collaborative projects. But I might be
able to prevail upon him to permanently allocate space for this, if
enough people feel that having a repository of .wav files would be
better than .mp3s for the purposes of creating their own CDs.

Hmmmm....thinking....looking at my own projects, the typical 16/44 .wav
file seems to be between 35 and 50 MB. If we're looking at say 12 songs
we'll probably wind up with 500 MB's worth of .wav files. That's a
pretty hefty chunk!
