There are such things as veggie burgers and veggie
dogs......(nhot
dogs)
So maybe that is part of what Paul is grilling.
*********************************************
Y'know what I find especially hillarius ?
the preachy vegetarians who tell yo how great they feel etc.
then they go into salesman mode and tell you how they have
these
artificial veggie burgers and chicken and hotdogs ....!
If veggies tasted all the f**king great WHY do they spend time
& effort
to make it look, smell, have the texture, and imitate the
taste of MEAT
????????????
AND THE REAL THING ALWAYS TASTES BETTER !
Well a lot of these items are heavy on soy protein and the big
drawback to beingveganis not getting the protein your body
NEEDS.
We were meant to eat meat, our digestive systems are designed
for it,
but if someone wants to be vegetarian that's fine by me.
We were NOT meant to eat meat; that is why so many people get
colon
cancer; our intestine are way too long to properly ingest meat
products. By the way, I rarely eat the processed foods; I eat
hummus,
black beans, and make them myself. I only eat the other burgers in
a
pinch; there are salads, etc. We are DNA closely identical to that
of
a monkey/gorilla and they are basically vegetarian; look at horses
and
other large animals. They eat grains, nuts, legumes, etc. It is
much
better and healthier for you. All I can attest to is that I got
rid of
many of my health issues, my allergies and sinuses cleared up when
giving up dairy, and my skin issues cleared up. Obesity and heart
disease is the result of poor diets made of saturated fats.
Conscious
healthy eating takes a little brain power at first and then it
becomes
easy; after all, you are what you eat. Eat a pig, you start to
look
like one! Good luck either way.- Hide quoted text -

I don't want to argue this, I eat a healthy diet, no red meat or
pork
and though I could happily live on cheese forever I severely limit
my
intake.
There are a lot more problems with our present dietary intake than
meat, sugar, over processed foods etc.
Good on you for being a vegetarian, but don't assume that everyone
will buy into it.- Hide quoted text -

But the point of animal rights is not what's healthy, but what's
right.
That a vegan diet is healthy is just a plus.
I don't think we can convince everyone to be vegetarians, but is we
didn't think we can convince many, maybe the mayority, there would be
no pint in working for animal rights.- Hide quoted text -

There are alternatives to mass produced meats. Our local choics is
Rocky the Range Chicken. We live only about 5 miles from the farm and
it is a wonderful place.
Of course you pay a lot more for organic free range chicken but the
alternative is not worth eating, on many levels.- Ocultar texto de la

Mmm... yea, but we don't have a problem only with mass produced meats.
Isn't it a little strange to call "wanderful" aplace that makes money
aout of killing chickens?. I'm not trying to be rude, ans I think
it's good that you have concern about it, but the word just doens't
seem right at all to me...
Anyway, have you seen whwere the chicken actually live?, because I
think there aren't many regulations at all about what can be labeled
"organic" chicken.- Hide quoted text -

Yes I have seen where the chickens actually live and it is a beautiful
piece of property and the chickern truly are "free range", this place
is only about 5 miles from us so it isn't a mystery and they welcome
visitors.
I have a newflash for you, I was raised by very, very poor folks, we
raised animals for food and that was the way life was. I am sorry if
this offends you but it is reality.
Sorry the semantics bother you, but overly zealous righteous know it
alls bother me.
=========================================
And there are still many, many populations in the world where people would
starve if it weren't for animal products.
Right now there are food shortages because of the increased demand in
fertilizers.
I don't think it's right to call these people murderers for trying to feed
themselves.- Hide quoted text -

It's all about feeling superior I think.
"I think I'm so educated and I'm so civilized 'cuse I'm a strict
vegetarian, but with over population and inflation and starvation and
the crazy politicians, I don't feel safe in this world no more, I
don't want to die in a nuclear war, I want to sail away to a distant
shore and live like and apeman"
