Sorry to say, your artistic license may have lapsed. Step away from the
iMovie. You may reapply after waiting the requisite period.
Even Michael Moore wasn't that melodramatic in F9/11. Using that footage
is bad form.
Boooo.
Reality, what a concept.
How many times have we been shown footage of mushroom clouds bursting
over Nagasaki and Hiroshima, incinerating hundreds of thousands men,
women and children? How many times have the piled up bodies of
Hitler's death camps been shown? Using footage of history good or bad
is not bad form but a reminder of what has been and hopefully what can
be avoided in the future. Yoko's album cover of Lennon's bloody
glasses and a glass half full means what to you?
The song starts with the attack on 911 and ends with Lennon's Give
Peace A Chance. Mr. Bop put together in video, exactly what my lyrics
ment in the song.
Unfortunately, this isn't a Leave It To Beaver world.

I have to admit that I cringed when I first viewed the "Paging Mr Lennon"
video. The sight of the jets going into the buildings is a horror I will
never forget...I have a very *visceral* reaction to it...I feel connected
and I get a reaction in my stomach.
That being said, I agree with BJ...we need to be reminded. NEVER FORGET!
I should get the same reaction from the bomb film and pictures of other
atrocities, but I don't...I wasn't *there*.
I WAS there September 11, 2001. Home in my safe little world. I am no longer
comfortable here any more.
That should teach us something.
