Looking for accurate Beatles info. I've read a few of the online
biographies but I'm still not finding the information I want. I know
John Lennon settled down in NYC, but at any time did all or any of the
Beatles become US citizens? If so, which ones. If so, why? To
avoid higher UK tax?

Was there ever a time when the US used immigration laws to try to
deport the Beatles from the US?

More specifically, did they burn their draft cards AFTER become US
citizens? Were they ever involved in the burning of draft cards in
any capacity?

Thanks. I'm trying to clear up an argument with a friend who has made
some negative claims about the band.

John did and died for his efforts.
