No, that's bull***. Mp3s have had a free ride for too long. The word is out on how bad they sound.

I've recently read two articles, one in Word, and one in the New York Times, that talk about how iPods are now big enough to fit wave files on them, and how no one claims that mp3s sound as good as wave files.
