Well, I did bring up the *subject* of it being a bad insult because it's
disrespectful of people with disabilities. I said that I very rarely use
it for that reason, though I have on one or two very rare occasions for
effect.
Yes, that is the comment I recalled. I thought it was a morally
proper thing to say.
I didn't really 'take a stand', though. I pretty much caved to the
majority opinion and accepted the official use of the term 'Yokotard'.
(Not that I've really even used it since then, anyway.) I'm
uncomfortable with it, but since my coinage of 'YISers' was apparently
rejected by the body politick, I have no alternative to offer.
How about "geniuses"? :-) :-)
