I do like Yes, a lot... But we were talking about The Stones and The
Beatles, and both bands wrote mainly songs consisting of 2/3 verses, a
chorus and maybe a bridge (or "middle eight").... A "song" in terms of
bands like Yes, ELP, Genesis, generally consists of many more musical
ideas than that.... (unlike Pink Floyd's longest pieces of music, that
are based not as much on musical ideas but on "sonic" qualities and
sound effects.... they're much more minimalist in terms of musical
composition)
