What are your stereotypes? Where do they come from? There are
probably fans of some musical genres that you think of as
"inferior" (even if you don't mean to). Why? It's not good enough to
just say that "their music sucks" [euch!]. There has to be a better
justification than that.
The sterotypes I've seen, which are somtimes correct as all sterotypes are:
Country: redneck, rebel flag-waving Southerner
Bluegrass: hillbillies and older Country music fans
Metal: not-so-intelligent outcasts
Hard Rock: outcasts who have a bit more brains than Metal fans
Pop: mainstream America and most kids between ages 9 and 14, unless their
parents are hardcore Country fans
Showtunes: gay men and fat women
That last one is too funny!
