What is your favorite Beatles quote?
And what is your favourite author/journalists quote that described the fab
four?
If you like quotes, the Badman books are very good.
Here is a good George quote: I can't remember the exact words but he
said something like "The best thing that happened to me is when I
joined and Beatles and when I left the Beatles."
Here's another good George quote: when the 3 surviving Beatles were
working on Anthology, Paul had made some announcement to the effect
that the Beatles were getting back together. George retorted
publicly in response something to the effect of "The Beatles will not
be reuniting as long as John remains dead."
Cute remarks!- Hide quoted text -
IMO one of the things that made the Beatles really stand out in the
early 1960's when they conquored the world was their wit and sense of
humor. I've seen quite a few press conferences and other interviews
where they said really clever things just off the cuff.
