almost as if Geoff worships Paul.

You're saying that Geoff is giving John, Ringo and George less
attention("comes off poorly"/second fiddle) because he has been
Paul's friend and working partner for several years.
As I can see it, you're trying to dismiss him as source/witness of what
happened in the studio 1966-1969 simply because he's Paul friend/he admires
him.

I'm not dismissing everything he said . . . . I am saying he has a pro
Paul bias.




Same thing happened to Barry Miles.The author of Many Years from now. He's
Paul friend and couldn't be a reliable source .
He wrote about Paul ,how he in 1965/66 being interested in avant garde/the
London "underground culture".
Setting up an experimental studio in London,creating tape/music experiments
long before John did the same(1968).
For some on RMB he's simply not trusted because he's Paul's friend.

I for one do not entirely trust Barry Miles. He seems much too
"worshipful" to be objective. Plus IMHO Many Years from NOw has some
downright swipes at John which were not necessary. I have also read
separate interviews and/or essays by Miles where he puts John down.
IMHO Miles is more than merely a friend of Paul's . . . . he dislikes
John and if you read enough of his work, it becomes evident and taints
his point of view.

Some people criticize Derek as having a pro John anti Paul bias> I am
not criticizing Derek, but IMHO Miles has a clear pro Paul anti John
bias.
