Is anybody in love with this album? I've tried and tried to like it. I
can't figure out why it is considered to be great. I pull it off the
shelf every once in awhile and think to myself "It must be me, because
I just don't get it". Somebody, please enlighten me.
LIstened to it at the shop, but I didn't get it. Supposed to be great,
and I read in the paper that it finally was restored and released, like
it was much anticipated. That's diversity for you, I guess.

Just curious. Do you like the band Cocktail Slippers. Steve produced
them and wrote a
couple tunes. I think they are pretty cool and happen to come from
your neck of the woods.
They gaining much popularity up your way?

Haven't heard much yet. Saw them on tv with Steven, don't really think
they would've had much press if it wasn't for him. I don't think they
have found their spot yet.

There are other norwegian bands/artists that I think are better:

Madrugada:      www.myspace.com/wearemadrugada
Bigbang:        www.myspace.com/smallbang
Røyksopp:      www.myspace.com/royksopp
CC Cowboys:    www.myspace.com/cccowboysofficial(sings in norwegian only)
Christel Alsos:www.myspace.com/christelalsos
Sondre Lerche:  www.myspace.com/sondrelerche

And on the more jazzy side there's Jan Garbarek, Nils Petter Molvær,
Arve Henriksen and Tord Gustavsen.

So glad you didn't mention Dimmu Borgir. My buddy plays them nonstop,
and quite frankly, my ears are bleeding. LOL. Thanks for the links to
these bands.
