What's that make him ?
Makes him a man with a very large ego.
Well, since ropeyarn is killfiled for not being able to resist the
monkey dance, and you are not since I have not seen you directly respond
to the troll in question, it certainly means ropeyarn is full of ***. I
have yet to see you respond directly to the troll in question, so there
is no incongruity here. Except in your apparent reading comprehension in
this thread, of course.
Oh, I am sorry . I did misread that.
I just don't think kindly upon this "If you are going to talk to Patrick
then I am not going to talk to you" Is it really such a hardship for you
to ,once you ascertain that folks are responding to someone you deign a
troll, to just opt out of the conversation? I mean it's not like
bandwith is limited these days, right? What is the big fucking deal?
And the thing about Patrick is that he's been here for a long time, he
participates in a non troll like fashion on other subjects ( baseball,
Bruce etc) . I would save my troll wrath for the folks who show up out
of nowhere and start spouting racist crap or spamming. Plus there is
something inherently arrogant about saying " well , if you are talking
to him, I am not talking to you". What makes you think that folks even
care that much? Like I said, playground tactics. Of course, this does
resemble a playground . Maybe we should all have water fights instead.
Patrick is just a lonely guy as far as I can tell, with some silly
opinions that people occasionally like to argue with. I don't argue with
him much but I may talk baseball with him ( if the Yankees weren't such
bums) It's not a big deal at all. I think that threatening to kill file
those who respond to him is very silly- but hey, it's your loss. For
example, if you were to kill file some folks who have gone on Patrick
binges ( Rob W. for example) you will be missing some great stuff that
he writes elsewhere. This guilt by association thing is just so
Republican! I thought this train was supposed to carry everyone.
Ok, I will stop calling you sheriff. How about "commander"?
Plus, I remember you once telling people to stop responding to me
because you didn't like what I was saying and that the fact that I was
funny occasionally didn't mean that I should be talked to.
I apparently have held a grudge. I will let it go as it is slimy and has
warts.
