That's not being 'pragmatic' though, that's just being stupid. It's
the 'fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me' story.
It's already well known he had his staff make plans to give out the
money in a much different way than he led Congress to believe when
they asked for the money. It's was basically all a scam.

Ah. Well, this is not my big area....In fact I you could fit what I know
about the economy and how it works on a grain of rice. I try to learn
and I just get confused. We will see what happens, eh?



Rahm? Too DNC and too militaristic. All those kids voted for Obama
because they are tired of this generation spending more than we are
willing to tax ourselves and sending the bill to them. They know
what's coming down the road, so to speak. If Obama does nothing for
now but get the budget under control then he'll be a hero to those
kids and will create a group of Democratic voters for years to come.
In order to do that you have to increase taxes somewhere and severly
cut back on defense. There is simply no other way. American militarism
has to stop or those kids willl be paying for it the rest of their
lives. If we want to be militaristic we should at least pay for it
ourselves. I don't think Rahm quite understands that.

From what I have read of him I have no problem with him. I could be
wrong. I could always be wrong. Did you know that Aaron Sorkin based
Josh Lyman on him- that amuses me.
Plus, he's cute.

The whole West Wing thing is a little freaky. The only thing that
would be more life imitating art imitating life at this point would be
if Obama named McCain Secretary of State.
