The Renaissance on Genesee Street is where I'd recommend you stay in
terms of the nicest place. I obviously don't stay in hotels here, so I
don't know how the price compares to other hotels.

Dinosaur BBQ is the place to eat if you haven't been there before. I
mean, there are other good restaurants in town, of course, but that one
is semi-famous and expanding beyond it's birthplace here:

Zebb's is a really good burger joint (get the Zebb Original wings as an
appetizer):
