As for Bruce; as usual, he steps up to the plate and says all the
right things - not too much, not too little.  A sweet and authentic
tribute to a friend and fan.

When Brokaw broke down for a minute, I nearly lost it.  There is
something about seeing men (or women) of this ilk get choked up that
appeals to our need for release ourselves.  Dan Rather on Letterman
after 9/11 was another significant moment like that for me.

Anyway, this was a beautifully done show with all the right people,
clips and memories.

We had now power (severe thunderstorm), so no tv to watch.  Thank you
all for describing this.  Wish I coulda seen it.

Thanks, Mick! I just watched the whole thing with a few tears in my
eyes ... especially the closing notes to Bruce's music and his "Happy
Father's Day" announcement and his love for his son.
