Wow, that is pretty impressive.
It's amazing how someone with that sort of life history can become instantly
negated and
demonized over a one minute  clip.   And the guy apologized almost
immediately following,
which is something of a rarity (in that it seemed to be a genuine apology)..

I agree with you billy (and thanks, mark, for posting Fr. Pfleger's
resume)

in my opinion, we have the very real, very sad potential of never
having anyone again as President in this country with anything
"colorful" (in any sense of the word) in their background, because
good luck finding anyone who even started to border on sainthood who
doesn't have something of the other extreme in their past, somewhere.
Look up the details on many many people who have made big differences
in other's lives, and you'll find some serious piles of dirt on most
of them. It used to happen, that people could rise to the top of the
government with interesting connections, but the present era of rabid,
entertainment based non-stop "news" has obliterated that happening
now.

America will get the mediocrity it deserves, if it can't handle a
little spice in its cup of tea.
