How do you get to a point where you not only meet people who seem and

they blame you and no longer include you as a friend?

I'm sorry ... I shouldn't post this ... I just ... am heartbroken and
it's hard for me to handle a break-up because of a 20 year old kid who
is sweet, but doesn't make the grade. I mean, I was trying to be open-
minded with her and she just slams the door on me.

I am just in shock. And I appreciate you all putting up with my
sillyness in posting this. But, I've been crying for a half hour and
I thought maybe if I just wrote out some of my feelings ....

So it was you who caused Jason to lose?

Just kidding. But I'm unclear what you actually said to her... first you say you only told her he didn't want to stay in, then you say that he's sweet but doesn't make the grade. Sometimes, friends just need to be heard and sympathized with, not hear the truth as you see it.

Jason is going to be alright. I saw him on the Ellen show (my sis loves him and called me to turn it on) and he played and sang better than he EVER did on AI. He's going to have a great career. Perhaps you can find evidence of that and get back in her good graces by pointing that out.
