I wasn't a fan yet(well not a concert going one anyway), but you are
right. You aren't the only one that loves the TOL tour because of the
horns. What LCPD doesn't get is that Bruce used BIUSA to set himself
and his family up for life. After that, he has done what he wants to
do. If you don't want Bruce to grow and expand as an artist that is
just too bad. I don't want Bruce to try and to BIUSA II and BIUSA
III. That would be boring and silly. Look at U2. Staying in the
same place is creative death.

Bruce could have built on the success of Born In The U.S.A. and come
back bigger than ever. Instead he puts out a depressing album, waits
forever to tour then plays arenas and makes it really hard for his
fans to get tickets. The way he put them onsale was shameful. Make up
your mind, either you are low key for real (see Nebraska or D&D) or
you are mega-Bruce for real, none of this wishy washy way he went
about it.
He should have done a proper stadium tour and played the hits the fans
wanted to hear in their proper setting. I understand he was going
through a midlife crisis but that's really no excuse to take it out on
his audience like that.
TOL was a proper stadium tour. ***, the shows had horns!
