These illegals are contributing to our society

Some are and some aren't. Some are good people, some are the dregs of Mexican society. Some work hard and keep their noses clean; some join street gangs and murder people.

Most illegals stay clear of trouble. That's a fact.

What's undeniable is that from health &
welfare to school services, the massive lot of them are putting a huge load on our system.

A fraction of what the war and debt interest are costing us. Bait and switch... scapegoat.

Tell ya what, go live in Brownsville or South Padre Island
for a few years and then come back and report on how "wonderful" ILLEGAL immigration is. Better yet, export your goods to Mexico, apply for a job in Mexico, see how you are treated.

I'm not saying it isn't a problem, but the republicans are making this a bait and switch issue. Why on earth aren't people more upset about the $2 billion dollars in cash lost in Iraq? Why is Lou Dobbs not on about that every day?

Doesn't it bother you to be manipulated like that? Put things in perspective and realize that these republicans will NEVER solve this problem, because their bosses want the cheap labor. Bush, to his credit, is at least honest about that. The rest of the lot just fan the flames of hatred, and suggest useless things like walls and mean-spirited and short-sighted things like punishing the children by taking away education and health care, none of which will solve the problem.
