Any single human life has more complexity, more energy bound up in it than out tallest towers.
And any death simplifies all that, horribly.

Dazed and confused as we are in the rubble of our towers, there is an opportunity to learn something here.
Perhaps just one opportunity.

And yet we are all supposedly with the Crusaders or the Terrorists.
Or, alternately, with the great Jihad or with Islam's enemies.

With all due respect, with all sympathy, with love some of us cannot make that choice.
Are we with the Terrorists or the Crusaders?
