Did others here on RMAS let them know of their error?
I also read on the website that if a review did not include a grade of
some type (A-F or number of stars) that the editors read the review and
assigned a grade based on their view of the overall tone of the review.
I find it kind of strange that their preception of the L.A. Times review
was that is only deserved a grade of 80 when they thought a grade had
not been given to the review. Makes me wonder about some of the low
grades given to the less than positive reviews of "Magic" on the
website.
While the LATimes score is now up to 100 for "Magic", the overall
rating is down to 74. For comparative purposes, Bob Dylan's "Love &
Theft" got a 93 rating and his "Modern Times" got an 89 rating.
Shoot, Patty Scialfa's" 23rd Street Lullaby" got an 81 rating.
