Magic Vinyl!!!
Finally able to listen to this. It sounds fantastic! Much better than
those cruddy MP3's.
Yep, I definately qualify for the geek of the week with this one. Went out
and bought it on vinyl monday, along with a used turntable. Also bought
Greetings, WIESS, Born to run, Darkness, The River, BITUSA, and Elvis in
Concert from the used record section. Got it home...hooked it up...NO
SOUND!!!!! I later found out it was because I hooked the turntable up
directly to the aux input on my receiver. Voltage is/was different for
turntables than for newer digital equipment. Needed a phono pre-amp to
intercept the the signal from the turntable to the receiver. That did the
trick. Im loving this. I havent listened to anything on vinyl in probably
20 years. Just the smell of the vinyl is cool!
