Not counting Terry's Song (which brings it in at almost 48 minutes).
No filler here. No throwaways. No "Zombie Zoo" and "The Apartment
Song" here. No sir.
I can't find a link anywhere! Can you help?
Personally, I always lean towrsd more songs (everything that will fit
on a disc) in this day of CD's. I'd rather have an extra four or
five, even if I end up not liking them all, then a 2/3 full disc, but
yes, there is something nicely nostalgic about a CD being the length
of an album, at least for those of us who remnember what albums
were.
It's just that, in the old days, when Bruce was known for recording
tons of songs, and had to narrow it down to what would fit on Vinyl,
we were probably all wishing vinyl could hold more. Now that it, in
effect, can hold more, I wish he'd stick a few more on there. I guess
he recorded this so quickly that there arent many (if any) leftovers
like in the old days. Anyway, when I give it the first listen
tomorrow, I hope to love all of it (other than Radio Nowhere, which
I'm a long way from liking. )
