There are several 3rd party programs that will allow you to copy your
songs off your ipod onto a PC (something the record companies CRINGE
at the thought of)CopyPod works well, but is a bit slow. XPlay also
works pretty well. I think they're both around $20.

I really doubt that all your music got wiped off your computer when
iTunes failed. Try searching your computer for files with the word
"Badlands" in the name (just a hunch, but I'm guessing you had a few
versions of that ditty). That should point you to the location of
your music files.

When you find your files...BACK THEM UP!!!
