Southside Johnny Question

This question has little to do with his music (I love ALL his releases
with the exception of Trash It UP and I know he agrees with that).
The question is more along his personal / professional feelings.
I always got the impression from hearing him speak or things he would
say on stage that he was either "Bitter" or for lack of a better word
"Not Content" with things. Not sure if it was his personality or if
maybe he just felt that he could have been bigger. I don't know. It's
hard to put my finger on things. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Like I said, I think he is without a doubt, the best Rock / Blues
singer ever put on wax. And his Slow Dance album should have won a
friggin' Grammy.
Ur thoughts?
