I think that it is to somewhat differentiate her from her husband.

If you remember, in the early days of his "presidency" Bush was called all sorts of versions of his name "Bush Jr," "Bush the Second," "George W Bush," "Dubya" etc. Now it's usually just Bush.

I have no doubt that if Hillary Clinton is elected over time she will go from being Hillary to Clinton over time.

And in fairness, it's how she is being marketed to...look at the official logos on the candidates own web sight. Edwards is "John Edwards 2008" and Obama's reads "Obama'08." Clinton's page is topped with "Hillary 2008."

And it doesn't change the fact that Longyard is an *** for implying that fewer casualties in Iraq is a "Bad Day" for Democrats. So many people have lost loved ones in this war. I am sure there are people here who know people who were hurt and killed. I lost a childhood friend over there.

I can't imagine anything more thoughtless than the way Longyard has tried to turn those deaths and injuries into good old-fashioned fun and games.
